I feel like God expresses His ways by giving us diferent loving gifts:
A mom bakes
A child hugs
A father protects
A teacher helps
A bird sings
A dog gives companionship
An elder shares experiences
A doctor heals
A Wonderful God dies for us!

Day 117 - What are we waiting for?
We sometimes think it's too hard to go bring the Word to a neighbor.
He said, keep knocking on the door, and it will be opened.
Day 116 - Eu preciso do teu olhar
We need you Lord to look at us, I need you!
We need your touch and teachings, your love, your wisdom!
We are nothing without you Jesus!

Day 115 - Today's Word
As per May 27, Proverbs 27. Living one day at a time, with God's daily spiritual and physical bread.
Proverbs 27
Do not make a noise about tomorrow, for you are not certain what a day's outcome may be.
Let another man give you praise, and not your mouth; one who is strange to you, and not your lips.
A stone has great weight, and sand is crushing; but the wrath of the foolish is of greater weight than these.
Wrath is cruel, and angry feeling an overflowing stream; but who does not give way before envy?
Better is open protest than love kept secret.
The wounds of a friend are given in good faith, but the kisses of a hater are false.
The full man has no use for honey, but to the man in need of food every bitter thing is sweet.
Like a bird wandering from the place of her eggs is a man wandering from his station.
Oil and perfume make glad the heart, and the wise suggestion of a friend is sweet to the soul.
Do not give up your friend and your father's friend; and do not go into your brother's house in the day of your trouble: better is a neighbour who is near than a brother far off.
My son, be wise and make my heart glad, so that I may give back an answer to him who puts me to shame.
The sharp man sees the evil and takes cover: the simple go straight on and get into trouble.
Take a man's clothing if he makes himself responsible for a strange man, and get an undertaking from him who gives his word for strange men.
He who gives a blessing to his friend with a loud voice, getting up early in the morning, will have it put to his account as a curse.
Like an unending dropping on a day of rain is a bitter-tongued woman.
He who keeps secret the secret of his friend, will get himself a name for good faith.
Iron makes iron sharp; so a man makes sharp his friend.
Whoever keeps a fig-tree will have its fruit; and the servant waiting on his master will be honoured.
Like face looking at face in water, so are the hearts of men to one another.
The underworld and Abaddon are never full, and the eyes of man have never enough.
The heating-pot is for silver and the oven-fire for gold, and a man is measured by what he is praised for.
Even if a foolish man is crushed with a hammer in a vessel among crushed grain, still his foolish ways will not go from him.
Take care to have knowledge about the condition of your flocks, looking well after your herds;
For wealth is not for ever, and money does not go on for all generations.
The grass comes up and the young grass is seen, and the mountain plants are got in.
The lambs are for your clothing, and the he-goats make the value of a field:
There will be goats' milk enough for your food, and for the support of your servant-girls.
Amen.

Day 112 - God's perfect Will
"The Lord gives both death and life, He brings some down to the grave, but raises others up" 1 Samuel 2:6
"Do you think that I like to see wicked people die? Says the Sovereign Lord. Of course not! I want them to turn from their wicked ways and live!" Ezekiel 18:23
He wants us, He loves us. He created us and has a perfect will for our lives. I can't understand why we are usually so blind and stupid that we can't give up on our silly ways and surrender to God's beautiful and spotless plan.
Let your will be done, Lord, because only you are God.

Day 110 - Psalm of David
"O Lord, be my judge, for my behaviour has been upright: I have put my faith in the Lord, I am not in danger of slipping.
Put me in the scales, O Lord, so that I may be tested; let the fire make clean my thoughts and my heart.
For your mercy is before my eyes; and I have gone in the way of your good faith.
I have not taken my seat with foolish persons, and I do not go with false men.
I have been a hater of the band of wrongdoers, and I will not be seated among sinners.
I will make my hands clean from sin; so will I go round your altar, O Lord;
That I may give out the voice of praise, and make public all the wonders which you have done.
Lord, your house has been dear to me, and the resting-place of your glory.
Let not my soul be numbered among sinners, or my life among men of blood;
In whose hands are evil designs, and whose right hands take money for judging falsely.
But as for me, I will go on in my upright ways: be my saviour, and have mercy on me.
I have a safe resting-place for my feet; I will give praise to the Lord in the meetings of the people."

Day 109 - Perseverance
With prayers and deep desires, making requests at all times in the Spirit, and keeping watch, with strong purpose, in prayer for all the saints, Ephesians 6:18
By going through all these things, you will keep your lives. Luke 21:19
And waiting gives experience; and experience, hope: Romans 5:4

Day 107 - Our strength 10% + God's strength 90% = Victory 100%
Once I heard a pastor preaching about how we must trust on God's power of course, but we have to meet Him along the way with our strength too. It's almost like what people say that the man should do 90% of the effort to gain a woman's heart but she has to move the other 10%. God is way beyond 90% over our strength, our strength compared to His power probably begins with a bunch of zeros.
Today running after a bus I realized that God does opens doors to us and puts people and opportunities on our way, but if we are half-sleep on our walk and not paying attention to life, we are going to fail on our task, which is only 10%, the bus is there, every day at the same time, but because of my slow walk, I almost missed it and had to run really hard to finally catch it.
It is such as when the Scripture says Jesus is the groom waiting for His bride, us. It takes a lot for a groom to be standing there, it's probably a lot of effort to gain a woman's heart, but if she doesn't walk those final 10% down the aisle, there will be no marriage, no victory.
When Sarah had never had a baby, she did the 10% which was to keep seeking God and His strength, and God did His 90%, or more like 99% in that case, which was to make the impossible, possible.
"Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son." Genesis 18:14
"Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually." 1 Chronicles 16:11
I love to know that as long as we keep seeking Him, He will always be there with His strong hand to give us victory all days of our lives. We depend on His Grace, of course, but there is 10% of the tasks that we ARE able to do. What are our 10% today?
________________________________________________

Day 106 - Versos
"Ninguém vem ao Pai senão vier a mim"
"O Senhor é meu pastor, nada me faltará"
"Bem aventurados aqueles que sofrem, pois deles é o Reino de Deus"
"Pois a luta não é contra a carne, mas contra o espírito"
"Que a Graça de Deus esteja com todos, hoje e sempre, Amém"

Day 102 - For each day, one word
God is so great that He even thought of making the book of Proverbs in 31 chapters so we can read one chapter each day of the month.
As for today we have:
Proverbs 14
As for today we have:
Proverbs 14
- The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down.
- He whose walk is upright fears the Lord, but he whose ways are devious despises him.
- A fool's talk bring a rod to his back, but the lips of the wise protect them.
- Where there are no oxen, their food-place is clean; but much increase comes through the strength of the ox.
- A true witness does not say what is false, but a false witness is breathing out deceit.
- The hater of authority, searching for wisdom, does not get it; but knowledge comes readily to the open-minded man.
- Go away from the foolish man, for you will not see the lips of knowledge.
- The wisdom of the man of good sense makes his way clear; but the unwise behaviour of the foolish is deceit.
- In the tents of those hating authority there is error, but in the house of the upright man there is grace.
- No one has knowledge of a man's grief but himself; and a strange person has no part in his joy.
- The house of the sinner will be overturned, but the tent of the upright man will do well.
- There is a way which seems straight before a man, but its end is the ways of death.
- Even while laughing the heart may be sad; and after joy comes sorrow.
- He whose heart is turned away will have the reward of his ways in full measure; but a good man will have the reward of his doings.
- The simple man has faith in every word, but the man of good sense gives thought to his footsteps.
- The wise man, fearing, keeps himself from evil; but the foolish man goes on in his pride, with no thought of danger.
- He who is quickly angry will do what is foolish, but the man of good sense will have quiet.
- Foolish behaviour is the heritage of the simple, but men of good sense are crowned with knowledge.
- The knees of the evil are bent before the good; and sinners go down in the dust at the doors of the upright.
- The poor man is hated even by his neighbour, but the man of wealth has numbers of friends.
- He who has no respect for his neighbour is a sinner, but he who has pity for the poor is happy.
- Will not the designers of evil come into error? But mercy and good faith are for the designers of good.
- In all hard work there is profit, but talk only makes a man poor.
- Their wisdom is a crown to the wise, but their foolish behaviour is round the head of the unwise.
- A true witness is the saviour of lives; but he who says false things is a cause of deceit.
- For him in whose heart is the fear of the Lord there is strong hope: and his children will have a safe place.
- The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, by which one may be turned from the nets of death.
- A king's glory is in the number of his people: and for need of people a ruler may come to destruction.
- He who is slow to be angry has great good sense; but he whose spirit is over-quick gives support to what is foolish.
- A quiet mind is the life of the body, but envy is a disease in the bones.
- He who is hard on the poor puts shame on his Maker; but he who has mercy on those who are in need gives him honour.
- The sinner is overturned in his evil-doing, but the upright man has hope in his righteousness.
- Wisdom has her resting-place in the mind of the wise, but she is not seen among the foolish.
- By righteousness a nation is lifted up, but sin is a cause of shame to the peoples.
- The king has pleasure in a servant who does wisely, but his wrath is against him who is a cause of shame.

Day 100 and 101 - Journey
As I have reached over 100 days I realized how much God is with me and how He makes Himself present in my daily journey and He makes these little miracles to make sure I am still holding on to my faith and trust Him on a daily basis, surrendering each and every one of my days to Him.
In you, O Lord, have I put my hope; let me never be shamed. Psalms 71:1
In you, O Lord, have I put my hope; let me never be shamed. Psalms 71:1
The Lord takes care of me as his sheep; I will not be without any good thing. He makes a resting-place for me in the green fields: he is my guide by the quiet waters. He gives new life to my soul: he is my guide in the ways of righteousness because of his name. Yes, though I go through the valley of deep shade, I will have no fear of evil; for you are with me, your rod and your support are my comfort. You make ready a table for me in front of my haters: you put oil on my head; my cup is overflowing. Truly, blessing and mercy will be with me all the days of my life; and I will have a place in the house of the Lord all my days. Psalms 23:1-6
This is the Lord I serve, the one who has made Himself flesh and died on a cross, the one who bled to death and who was tortured the most horrible torture, the one who loves so much to do such things. How would a God that loves me so much die that way and not fulfill His promises? He wouldn't. He is loyal, He is God, He is Father, Son and Spirit.

Day 99 - Truth
I know I have wrote this before but I must write it again, because sometimes it is easy to forget God's promises and rely on our own understanding, forgeting all we know about Him.
1 - To obtain something we have never had, we must do something we have never done.
2 - When God takes something from us, He is not punishing us, He is setting our hands free to give us something better
3 - God's Will will never take you where His Grace can't protect you
__________________________

Day 97 - Impatience x Faith
I have probably written about being patient and waiting upon the Lord before, but for some reason the Lord has been whispering this to me in the last few days: patience, patience, patience.
It is so easy to become impatient, to lose faith and get caught into situations when our human nature tell us to be anxious for an answer right away. The thing is, impatience is the total opposite of Faith, as Faith is to wait on what is unseen. Faith is what connects us to God and is the only way to believe what the Scriptures tell us, plus it is how He tests our hearts.
Why to be impatient then? There is no point.
Impatience kills our relationship to God, it kills our relationship to our beloved ones, it kills even the purposes and gifts God is wiling to give us because we can't wait upon Him and make quick decisions.
I was amazed to do a quick research on "Patience" in the Bible and found almost a hundred verses not even considering the related subjects. Here are some:
But let patience have {her} perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. James 1:4
Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; Colossians 1:11
Here is the patience of the saints: here {are} they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. Revelation 14:12
For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, {then} do we with patience wait for {it}. Romans 8:24-25
But in all {things} approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, {approving: Gr. commending} 2 Corinthians 6:4
____________________________________________________
Tiago 1:4
fortalecidos com todo o poder, segundo a sua glória, em toda a paciência e longanimidade com gozo Colossenses 1:11;

Tiago 1:4
fortalecidos com todo o poder, segundo a sua glória, em toda a paciência e longanimidade com gozo Colossenses 1:11;
Apocalipse 14:12

Day 92 - Daily relationship
The best way to wake up is with God,
The best way to have breakfast is with God,
The best way to have lunch is with God,
The best day to go through day, work and routine, is with God
The only way to have life is with God
The only way to survide is with God
He is the way, the only way, the true way
One day we can say "tomorrow I'll go back to God" but...
Every day spent without God is equivalent of 86400 seconds of death and darkness
Only light defeats darkness but nothing can defeat light.
He is the way; He IS, period.

Day 91 - Cycle of life
He knows us from birth, in our mother's womb He planned us, He dreamed about even before we existed. He knows how many pieces of hair we have on our heads, He knows the beginning and the end, because He is the beginning and the end. He knows and is everything.

Day 90 - Day after day
God's love is eternal because He is eternal. Our brief presence on Earth is nothing compared to His greatness. The truth is we are so small that we don't even realize how small we are, and when situations and problems happen, we forget we are so small altogether with our little problems, and that God is so imense.
The best way to handle life is daily, as He says, go and trust me, I'll give you your daily bread.
The best way to handle life is daily, as He says, go and trust me, I'll give you your daily bread.
"Let it be all joy to you, my brothers, when you undergo tests of every sort;
Because you have the knowledge that the testing of your faith gives you the power of going on in hope;
But let this power have its full effect, so that you may be made complete, needing nothing.
But if any man among you is without wisdom, let him make his request to God, who gives freely to all without an unkind word, and it will be given to him.
Let him make his request in faith, doubting nothing; for he who has doubt in his heart is like the waves of the sea, which are troubled by the driving of the wind." James 1:2-6
Day 89 - We gotta be prepared
"For our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against authorities and powers, against the world-rulers of this dark night, against the spirits of evil in the heavens.
For this reason take up all the arms of God, so that you may be able to be strong in the evil day, and, having done all, to keep your place.
Take your place, then, having your body clothed with the true word, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness;
Be ready with the good news of peace as shoes on your feet;
And most of all, using faith as a cover to keep off all the flaming arrows of the Evil One.
And take salvation for your head-dress and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
With prayers and deep desires, making requests at all times in the Spirit, and keeping watch, with strong purpose, in prayer for all the saints," Ephesians 6:12-18
