Day 141 - Being perfect by Jesus' eyes

How many times do we get frustrated when we make a mistake or act not according to Jesus' laws?

It's easy to say "I will never do this or that because I love Jesus".

That we love Him, yes, sure, it may possibly be truth but that we will NEVER do this or that, we may be wrong sometimes.

For those who become Christians after so many bad things in life, it feels like all problems are solved and life will be from that moment on all nice and smotth.

That is usually not what happens, after a while walking with Jesus and all the clean up that He does in our lives the reality kicks in and all that great feeling gets slowed down by the challenges and trials God gives us or the things we get ourselves into.

I wish we could be more like Jesus, we could shape ourselves and act according to the decisions we made, instead of making decisions and being confident and not following them through.

To be Christian is not easy, nobody said it was easy. Jesus says "Do not have the thought that I have come to send peace on the earth; I came not to send peace but a sword." Mathew 10:34
It requires a lot of work, a lot of effort, a lot of personal sacrifice, it is not easy but it's worthy it. It's for our own salvation, for the salvation of this world, for better life on Earth, for integrity amd happiness among families and nations, it is for His glory and that's what matters.

Let's not do what's easy but what's right.
