John 18:11
But Jesus said to Peter, “Put your sword back into its sheath! Am I not to drink the cup that the Father has given me?”
Just before Jesus' death, He had the chance to escape when Peter takes a sword to defend Jesus. Jesus could have walked away from the mission God gave Him, but He didn't, instead He carries on with what would glorify His Father's name.
Sometimes it is really hard to follow Him, we are just humans, Jesus was God Himself so He conquered the world. We will not always succeed the challenges of this world but if we keep trusting Him and never turn away from Him, His strong hand will be always there.
I wish we could be just perfect so we wouldn't suffer but that's not God's purpose to us, so all we can do is just keep walking the walk.
