It may seem a moralistic conversation to talk about values and traditions, and in fact it is, our society has lost the great things our grandparents used to cultivate and had as more precious for us.
Who cooks from scratch nowadays? Father makes this nice meal at home, kid drives himself to Subway to get a half industrialized sandwich. Kids moving in together, kids having babies when they can barely take care of themselves. Father using drugs with child. Dad takes daughter to strip club, mom dates daughter's ex boyfriend. What is all this mess? Are we going to get to a point that people don't believe in love, or don't want to know about rules and discipline? Well, I think we are there already.
It's unfortunate and sad. All the technology we have is great, all the access to education and science, it's all amazing, but how about the old fashion? It's not even to be called old fashion, because whatever there is today is not even a fashion, it's actually a big chaos. Distorted minds and lives, people running in cycles, completely unaware of the meaning of live, of real pain, real happiness, real work.
For some people, the best could happen to them in life is if they could see the American Idol in person.
What's up with that? This life is so quick, what does my car's brand matter?
We Christians need to be light in this world, that's my plea. Even Christians are sometimes blind with things of this world, when we should be the most conscious and alert people. We must wake up, revive, live life in it's full just like God planned, have the freedom He planned for us and show people what love and peace really means.
