Day 267 - The Spiritless Church

I saw a quote the other day that said take the Spirit out of most churches and nobody will notice the difference. That's sad, really sad, the whole point of the death of Christ is that He died and left His spirit on Earth to dwell among us and give us the insights that Jesus wants us to have. It is through the Spirit that things happen, it is through the Spirit that we act in the church, and do the will of God.

If the Spirit is not present, there is no point in doing good acts, because God said, I will recognize you not for doing good things but for doing my will.

"Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God" John 3:3

A murder can become blameless with Jesus pardon, but a little kind housewife, mother of children that gives food to the poor every month can go to hell if she doesn't do does things for Jesus and does not have the Holy Spirit with her.

The churches and it's Christians have become Spiritless, they go to church which is awesome, but their hearts don't belong to Christ, their lives are not led by the Spirit. How can they do God's will then?

- They can't.

177 - The Real Follower

I know nobody is perfect and I know no church is perfect too. I wich we couls be more righteous but it just seems as people are becoming more and more dry, even Christians. We all make mistakes, and nothing makes us better than each other.

Here is a verse that I wish we could become everyday. Walk with Jesus and never let Him out of our hearts, listening to His inputs 24/7 and having the guts to respond to it.

"But those things which were profit to me, I gave up for Christ. Yes truly, and I am ready to give up all things for the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, which is more than all: for whom I have undergone the loss of all things, and to me they are less than nothing, so that I may have Christ as my reward, And be seen in him, not having my righteousness which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:That I may have knowledge of him, and of the power of his coming back from the dead, and a part with him in his pains, becoming like him in his death; If in any way I may have the reward of life from the dead." Philippians 3:7-11

That's how Christians should be. It is not about church, religion, popularity, status, its all about God, so why do we still get trapped into things such as racism in the church, judgemental minds, unloving hearts.
God's Grace be with all of us today, we will need it. Amen
