I saw today an overwhelming scene of about 20 people being baptized because of their testimony of faith in Jesus Christ.
As each person emerged from that Holy water, I just saw in their faces the purity, the love, and tenderness of children 3 years old, so innocent, so caring, it got me tearing up.
I just imagine God watching it and being so happy and proud of His little children. He is such a loving daddy. He is that kind of parent that goes to all school activities and sits on the first row and cries "that's my kid".
Despite all our mistakes and our flaws, God loves us. He loves us in every way, every language, with insane love.
I imagine Him watching us when we are born, videotaping it so He can watch it over and over again, standing beside the doctor to make sure everything is okay, or when we get married, and then He is standing right there to give us His blessing, and proud of His children like a big peacock proud of His feathers.
We are little children, children of God, made by Him, unaware of what was going to happen to us, but courageous to face this giant dark world.
We don't know the future, we can't control anything, we don't have any power, to be alive itself is an act of faith. To live with God is an act of wisdom.
We are little, but we are very important to Him, it's like when we sing for Him, or draw a picture for Him, I can imagine Him putting it on the wall and telling everyone, it was my daughter or my son who made it, just for me, big smile on His face, His heart pouring out love.
I also imagine how much it hurts Him when He sees His babies dying of overdose, starvation, wasting their lives with corruption and adultery. Or when He sees us worshiping our own lives, our own bodies, our pets, our whatever else there is to be worshiped.
I pray that you reading this, you will open your eyes to realize that there is a God. And that He is loving and caring. That He made us, and that He has a plan for us. And that despite all that, He gave us free will, and we have choices, but most of the time, our choices, made on our own, hurt Him, ourselves and others.
I pray that you will make the right choice today. It's never never too late.
In Jesus name, Amen.
