Day 192 - Being with Jesus, not using Jesus

These past two weeks I've been reading a book that talks about prayer. Definitely prayer is more important for us than water or food, as it is the communication channel with our Creator. Without prayer we can't tell our Creator what we are thinking, we can't tell Him how much we love Him.

Prayer was not created for us to tell God what we need as He already knows. The Scriptures say He knows all our needs. It says, the flowers don't move nor work but they don't have to worry about their dress code because the Creator provides to them. It says, if us people can give good gifts to our children, how much more can He give?
Those verses tell us the main function to prayer is not to ask and ask for things, He knows what we need.

The main function to prayer is to express our love, our adoration, how much we fear and admire Him. It is to seek His presence, His holiness, His Spirit and power.
He wants to see us telling Him how much we need Him and want Him in our lives, because Jesus said," I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. " Revelation 3:20 He told us right there that what He wants is to be with us, and that's what He taught us to pray, not just to ask for a new car or a promotion.

Our main and primarily call is to sit at His feet, He called us to be holly and to adore Him, the happiness and all the other things come after. Let's adore our Father. Hallelujah!
